Welcome to NeuroTalk. We're so glad you found us! Gosh Donald, it could be any one of many different things causing your leg weakness. May I suggest that you keep a journal of your symptoms, tests done, meds, etc. That will at least help you keep track of what's going on. I wish you my best in your search. :) |
wading through mud
a major difficulty in walking (this symtom seemed to develope between one day and the next) that went for at least a month drove me to finally see a doctor.
my primary finally sent me to a neurologist. this neurologist sent me for tests and physical therapy , therapy(exercise by any other name) was a waste of time for me also. it took an extended stay in the hospital , for appendicitus , to get tested and diagnosed by a neurological team with some experience . i am now on a regimen that works well for me. hopefully you will be fortunate enough to get the right help before you get to the point i did.good luck to you.
