Understanding meds

Ok, I apologize in advance for my inability to understand - despite the fact that I am intelligent and try as I might, I cannot understand the NMJ, Achr, Ace....These things are so complicated! Even the very well written explanation Alice did recently (which seemed like a child should have been able to understand) went way over my head. Also I tried to search forum to see if these questions were previously asked and couldnt find answer so here goes...

Mestinon
- is it possible to develop/build tolerance to it?
- is there any significance to the amount one needs/can tolerate initially? (i.e. amount of damage in NMJ or amount of accummulated antibodies)

Prednisone
- does it eliminate existing bad antibodies or does it just stop your body from producing more?

I believe that it keeps the body from making more. The old ones will eventually deteriorate.
