Greetings

Hello there, and I hope you are still fighting the good fight. Now for the "Me me me" bit. I'm 49 and have had MS for 11 years and my biggest problem for the past six tears has been worsening neuropathetic pain in my feet. The NHS in the UK has no real inclination or knowledge to help me. The 'Painkillers' have just about run out of steam. I know I have CCSVI and the Liberation Procedure was the last hope.

Today I learnt that the US FDA has stopped all clinics in Europe from Liberating,so I'm browsing on here to see if anybody with similar problems has any sort of relief.

Thanks for reading, and I'll meet you all eventually

Steve

I know very little about the Procedure, so can't answer that. I have great pain in my feet due to neuropathy, due to more than one illness. I know how difficult it is. I think some of it comes from vascular insufficiency in the feet's little vessels, when blood becomes thick and can't get through those vessels. I believe the Swank diet, which works on that stickiness, has helped me. After all, I am 81, still walking (in pain) and have not had a stroke, and I have two other diseases which could cause neuropathy. So I recommend a very low fat diet as a place to start. Have you had a CBC blood test to see if you have high platelets or red cells? Some people have this other disease (Polycythemia Vera) or other situations which clog fine vessels. I am doing far better than most people. So I am actually grateful. Praying for you.

Welcome Steve,

I am sorry about the pain you are having. I have no suggestions.

I am curious as to how you learned about the US FDA stopping all European Clinics from doing CCSVI? It doesn't seem possible that the FDA would have any power outside of the US.

See you on the board,
ANN
