Weird urge to suddenly sleep, weird effects when I do. (Also hi y'all!)

Hey y'all. it's been a while. I haven't been here since 2010.

It's been somewhat okay these past couple of years. I managed to find a doctor to diagnose my PCS, and my head sensitivity being the cause of PCS, so people know that I'm legitimately injured. God, that whole process sucked. You know that my family and ex thought I was making my head injury up?

Anywho, got that fixed, and I got me some of that sweet gabapentin. That stuff is like a miracle. It hasn't significantly raised my resilience to further bumps, but it has slightly. Also it has minimized the neurological pain by mostly... All of it! Now if I get a head bump, the only thing that's a mild discomfort is the pressure in my head (sometimes it feels like air is being pushed out of my nose too, weird huh?) It fixed some symptoms as well, such as the odd flecks of light from the corner of my eyes and my vision, while not perfect, has improved mildly. Still a mess of other symptoms including the topic title.

Since the last "smack" to my head, which occurred about a couple month ago when my family left my 3 year old niece unattended and she decided to wake me up by punching the back of my head, I've been having these weird sensations in my brain area. It feels like there's a... "Black hole" in there, an odd feeling that I don't know how to describe other than comparing it to a black hole. When these sensations occur, my energy is completely gone and I have the urge to sleep. Weird enough lying on my comfortable bed and nice soft pillow does not cause me to instantly pass out, I just have the urge to stay there and try to sleep. When I do manage to fall asleep, it's not a long nap (about 1-2 hours), I'll wake back up all wide eyed with... A horrible headache! It's about the only time I get than sort of headache, along with it comes a really dry mouth, odd body temperatures, and sometimes nausea. These symptoms disappear after a couple hours.

So what is this exactly? Am I narcoleptic now? Am I that guy from Fight Club?

Also nice to still see you around Mark from Idaho! I still keep your nutrient regiment and safety tips n' tricks in mind to this very day.
