self diagnosed; confirmed by neuro.

Hello fellow nuero-ees!!

I am a 35 yr old female physical trainer, who was a bit of a medical mystery for some time. But after much research and havoc, I found that I was experiencing complex migraines with aura. I immediately left a message ion my discovery for my primary care provider and neurologist, (to whom I had not had an appointment with yet), regarding my discovery.

When I finally met with a neurologist my self diagnosis was confirmed. I was prescribed sumatriptan.

I have been experiencing symptoms unassociated with my diagnosis. I have cherubic fatigue/lethargy, to the extent that I cannot even get up of my sofa and walk a few feet to my restroom without being COMPLETELY physically exhausted to the point that I am winded and buckled over!

I have also experienced a dramatic exaggerated intolerance for alcohol, even before I was prescribed/used medication. I cannot explain the added symptoms, (and there are many other symptoms besides the two mentioned).

I hope that through this support site I will find others with similar issues to mine. I could REALLY use some support right now, because I feel so utterly alone in dealing with these health issues.

I pray that you all ate copping well with your neurological difficulties and that we can all offer rather sort and assistance on or paths towards living "normal lives".

In life and love,

Gabby.

PS please excuse any grammatical errors, as my brain does not function clearly anymore.;-)

Hi Gabby:

My name is Melody and I just wanted to welcome you to Neurotalk. You'll make lots of new friends here and I'm sure you'll find others with similar issues that you are facing.

Not a lot of fun, I can imagine. My hubby has dealt with Neuropathy for 20 years. Not a lot of fun in that department either.

So here's wishing you and your neuro can bang heads (not literally) and come up with some good solutions.

all the best

Melody
