Randomized trial on exercise and PD

Looks like Dr. Shulman has been busy. Think it was just last year that she published findings that moderate exercise was more beneficial than high intensity workout like the forced pace cycling studies of Jay Albert at Cleveland Clinic.

Randomized Clinical Trial of 3 Types of Physical Exercise for Patients With Parkinson Disease.

In this recent randomized trial, participants tried one of three modes of exercise. Resistance training, low intensity, and high intensity treadmill exercise. The stunning conclusion...exercise is good for us! Nothing earth shattering here but I like another researcher's take away: "I hope this study adds to the evidence that exercise should be the standard of care."

Finally...
