TOS affecting triceps tendon
 

Hi
I had surgery for my TOS about 18 months ago. I have noticed improvements in my condition but my troubles have not completely gone away.
I am a musician (classical guitarist). I have my left arm raised when playing and since doing this for years I think this is where the problem has come from.
I am having trouble down my hand, loosing strength and touch. It is to do with my nerves I think.
I have fund it a tendon down my tricep is incredibly tight and if I extend my arm out to the side and push it out my hand starts to go all tingly, I compare it to the other arm and I don't get the tingling on that side. I have developed these weird stretches that really stretch the tendon and I feel it is working a bit.
My Physio was massaging my arm and when she was dong the forearm it felt like my hand was going to explode. Just from massaging the forearm near the elbow. I was wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences as this?

Was your TOS surgery for vascular or neuro?

I wonder if a body worker/therapist that specializes in musicians would be something to seek out?
The static positions and hours of practice needed to play most instruments really set up unique situation.
Especially if at a professional level.

maybe there was pressure on the blood vessels so increasing amount of blood in your hand? "feeling like it was going to explode"?

Maybe your hand is hypersensitive, sign of crps?
