Great News!!!

For all of you who have heard about my problem (on various threads) regarding which facility my perm (if trial SCS goes well, obviously) SCS will be implanted at, and the issue that if at the "wrong" place, it will be done and my ins. will run out basically IMMEDIATELY afterwards... I just found out that my insurance does indeed allow for the implant to be done at the surgery center, and therefore I might be buzzing w/my perm by the end of the year!!! With a full couple months left of ins for post-op "stuff". The dread is gone!!! I don't think I've ever felt so restless over anything before in my life, and I'm so happy it's over! And not only do I have an answer, I have the one I want- praise Jesus! Really, thank you all for all of your prayers, I'm absolutely convinced they made all the difference (bc I would swear I've talked to this lady before and she told me she couldn't say which facility I'd be at for my perm SCS, but today she told me she could look it up and, voila, Surgery Center! Pretty sure God had a hand in this one)!

I'm still a bit restless and anxious, but now it's just because I'm so excited for the (first) big day! Let's call it Big Day A. (as the day of the permanent implant will be Big Day B).

So thankful again to you all for all of your prayers and support, as this not-knowing has drained me, and I really couldn't have gotten through it without you (forgive me if I sound like a big drama queen, but I was starting to worry that I might not even get the perm SCS because the hospital was scheduled out so far!) But that's behind us, YAY!

You all are wonderful, and I feel lucky to call you friends :grouphug:

~Colleen :)

I Just Love It

Isn't it absolutely wonderful when God abandons those "mysterious ways" pastors talk about and just slaps someone up aside of the head and plants a little thought in their mind about...... psssssst, put Colleen at the Surgery Center and Pronto!! I love it!!

Prayin still,
all will be well,

Mark...You never disappoint!

Mark-

You never disappoint, never cease to make me smile, and it seems, never cease to outdo yourself! How you always say the right things is beyond me, but you do! You've managed to continue to put me at ease that all will continue to go well, whilst cracking me up with a comment including God slapping one upside one's head! I love it! And it leads me to think that you are also of the belief that God has a sense of humor? I certainly am... If you knew the whole story of my life, you'd pretty much have no choice but to believe it, lol...

Anyway, yes, I am so grateful that this has worked out, and so simply, too. It was a little too simple when it came down to it actually... Not that I'm *looking* for a reason to worry, but again, if you knew me well, you'd know that things just don't happen that easy for me... I suppose maybe God was just cutting me a break for the couple weeks I spent so upset/worried about it and decided to "throw me a bone" and make it easy for once. Who knows.

But again, thanks for your support, and continued prayers. They mean so much to me. I will of course, continue to pray for you as well.

New worry, or maybe I should call it a prayer request: the ability to both have enough "good days" and motivation to get my apartment cleaned up! lol, it's beyond a mess, and it needs to be as clean and clutter-free as possible before my trial at the end of the month. And when it comes to motivation, I need all the prayer help I can get! Thanks in advance!!

~Colleen :)

Eva- I did indeed!

Eva-

I did indeed get my wish! And I thank you for your kind words. I am so grateful that this (i.e. my worrying and stress) is over. I'm so relieved, and boy, what a wonderful feeling that is! Now I just have to pray all goes well with the trial, and that the insurance doesn't drag their feet approving the perm. implant, and I might just be "all hooked up" with my permanent implant by the end of the year!

Thanks for caring!
Someone else who also cares,

Colleen

Well Hey!!!

I will just be willing to bet RRAE....... oh R...R....A....Eeeeeeeeeee!! Will drop along with a dusting smiley of some grandiose size which Ginnie will dispatch with an angel or two to watch over and spur you one to motivation to be prepared for the Trial Colleen.

Oh, and by the way...... that thing about humor? Well, have you ever seen an Aardvark???? Yeah, I reckon the Lord has a right good sense of humor, or an awesomely poor sense of delegation of creation to some poor angel who flunked design......

Anyway, I believe one of my favorite artistic renditions of a Christ figure has him laughing a deep belly type of laugh.... the kind you might occassionally hear from the direction of Eva's house when Ollie is licking/kissing her granddaughter little Eva. Yup.

Laughter is wondrous medicine... especially when the comedian is CLEAN. Did you ever feature Robin Williams or Whoopi Goldberg chewing on a bar of soap? Priceless.

Ha Ha Ha,
and Praying,
Mark56:D
