Husband and wife with CRPS

Hello everyone, I am a newbie here but have been on the internet forever! Well i will first start off with we have a 14 yr old daughter whom we feel pretty bad for.
Okay Sept 21st 2011, my husband Jeff was in a terrible motorcycle accident. Thank God he was all geared up but still managed to break his big left toe at the joint. A little piece of bone fragment was broke and needed to have surgery. So of course he had the surgery, and every since that he complained everyday that the pain was so bad he couldnt stand it. So to make a longer story short he is on pain meds to deal with it.

Well on April 26th of 2012 I had Carpal Tunnel Surgery on both of my hands. I had the Nerve conduction study and of course it showed up in both hands. So my doc decided surgery was best for me. I too had surgery on both hands and had excruciating pain that i can't describe. So I basically can lift a coffee cup and hopefully not drop it. Since my insurance only lets me have a block every 30 days, I have only had one in my left side. It has helped maybe 30%. I do go in for one on the 30th of this month for the right side.

We need all the prayers we can get. My question is can it spread to my back this fast? My back seems to be sun burnt at times and the same with part of my leg. I hope i am imagining it. I am not sure if I will have ins or not next year for more blocks. But no matter what we have to keep winning this battle. Good Luck to everyone and thank you for reading my story.

My prayers are with you! Vknusta! I've had this rsd for 30 years full body. You must be strong, and have faith!
Yes, it can and will spread. as a matter of fact, I always thought of it as how weird it would be, if just a part of my body had it? I kind of feel 0ddly that my entire body hurts. Anyway, I don't know where you live, in the US, get in line for SS! The longer you wait, the more you lose.
And, find the finest doctors you can!
Even though they can't do much, (this is very much a cancer type disease) without the death, just the agony. You must keep moving, and keep praying!
Pete

Yes it can spread fast and once you have it the slightest trauma can cause it to spread or start in another part of the bdy.
This might help a bit with the pain
