Big day today...THE big day tomorrow!
 

So I'm feeling very anxious today... Today my mom will pick up Brinkley (my dog), and I will pack up for a few days and go to my dad's- staying there tonight as I have to leave for my surgery around 6/6:30 AM tomorrow... so we figured it'd be easier just to stay there tonight. especially since I don't know how I'll stay here w/out Brinkley...it would just be too lonely. :(

But I am excited for tomorrow. I'm all set, I have my 'grabber', my Kindle is nice and full of inexpensive books (I got lucky and found a new series I like- that are only $2.99 ea on Amazon!)

So I just gotta keep the nerves in check and try to focus on the excited part... Please keep the prayers coming! Love you all!

Colleen I wish you all the best and I will pray that everything goes well for you tomorrow! My best advice for you for tomorrow is don't get discouraged after wards..it will hurt like hell trust me. In the recovery room I cried and they couldn't move me. The nurse gave me a shot of pain meds. I was so not happy and I was down b/c I didn't think I would be in that much pain, I felt like it didn't work.i was ready by that night to take it out. But again trust me as days go by it will get better and better. That's the only thing I wasn't prepared for was after the procedure. Please keep posting if you feel up to it. Will be thinking about you. Stay positive!!! :D

Thanks everyone! I will indeed allow for help, and will not overdo anything.. One warning: I may not be able to keep y'all up to date till next week as to how things went, as I'm staying at my dad's for at least the first half (if not the whole week) and therefore I'm not sure what kind of internet access I will have. They have wifi there, but my step brother is the only one who knows how it's set up, so here's hoping he remembers the password! (otherwise it's upstairs to the office and I'm guessing for at least the first few days that's gonna be a no-go, pain wise).

Anyway, thanks for the prayers, and please keep them coming. Love you all! :grouphug:
