I need prayer
 

Over the years I have prayed for many at this website and will continue to do so.

Now, I need prayer.

Recently, our grandson was born. When my own son was born, my mother, age 49, got sick and died a few months later. It was horrendous. I had always hoped that when my son had a child, I would be a good grandma...and a healthy one.

But, instead, I have been very ill with some over the top painful health problems like atypical trigeminal neuralgia, IBS, Sjorgens Syndrome and difficulty with medication side effects. This morning, I can't even get out of bed without assistance.

I'm having trouble getting good medications, pain relief and doctors who are coordinated, informed and caring. I ask for relief, especially since the holidays are here and this is such an important family time.

I ask for your prayers.

You are not alone, God is with you and we all sshare some sort of malady here, with the pain and the uncertainty intact however I continue to stand on His Word, as I believe He is a rewarder of those that deligently seek Him, and that mercy and lovingkindness shall follow me (and you) all the days of our lives...Father, I lift up my sister in Christ to You and ask for a special touch from you tonight/today. Refresh her as only You can, lighten her heart, bring healing and wholeness, and relief. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

Having had a little granddaughter who passed through our lives in just a moment after birth a year and a half ago, only to be succeeded into the world by a healthy brother who survives her just this year..... my wife and I do understand from a different perspective the painful heartache you present for prayer.

Lord, Please hold Vowel in Your arms of healing and love,
lift up Your countenance upon her and give her your peace,
make YOUR face to SHINE radiantly upon her that she may know
the ability to rise from bed to hold and love her grandchild,
Pour bountiful Blessings upon Vowel
so she may be Your Light to this precious little life in her family,

Thank you everyone for your prayers.

I awoke at 6 am, but I only felt strong enough and pain free enough to move about now...six hours later.

These prayers have boosted my spirits considerably. I was losing faith...I feel stronger.

Along with my prayers for my health to be restored, I pray that I might help others avoid nerve damage....
