clicking sound in ears

Has anyone experienced a clicking sound in your ears ?

It can be inflammation or infection. If it persists or you have other symptoms like a low grade fever or pain - or even if you don't have additional symptoms - go see your primary doc! It could also be from allergies.

Have you had it a long time?

I have had it for 5 1/2 years. It is not all of the time, only 3 or 4 times a day. There are only 2-5 clicks, then it goes away.

I think that clicking noises in the ears can sometimes be attributed to TMJ. Do you have these noises when you are chewing or maybe clinching your teeth.
