A friend of mine was just diagnosed with cogan and sensory neuropathy.

Do you know of anyone who has them both?

thanks

Are you referring to Cogan's syndrome?

The autoimmune inflammatory conditions of eyes and ears?

From the little I know about it, it's certainly possible that those with it might also have neuropathy and other conditions, due to the autoimmune connection; in fact, vasculitis, which is thought to be a big part of the mechanism with Cogan's, is also well known to produce neuropathy:

Yes. It is the autoimmune inflammatory conditions of eyes and ears.

According to here neurologist - it is very rare and she would like to know how rare it is.

Thanks for your reply.
