yoga to the people
I found this place that only charges 8$ per class of yoga. They are called yoga to the people. I am going to try it out this Saturday. Also thinking of getting together with a Buddhists counselor. Both these practices might teach me meditation.
Meditation experiences are different for everyone. I however can't seem to meditate. I do try but the breathing causes me to get ancy and I end up having a mild panic attack. I get distracted. I redirect myself over again and seconds later...fail. The goal is to let my brain become empty. Not think about work. Not think about what to do next. I just want my brain to have nothing in it. For at least a few minutes. So hard to do. Has anyone had any luck on this or practiced this? |
yoga is very good for toning the body. I have not meditated in a long time, if ever. I have had guided imagery sessions that were good. but not clearing of my mind.....sounds hard to do that.
good luck with your yoga! bizi |

I have been working on meditating for years. I feel that I have not made progress. My experience is somewhat similar to yours. I can do guided imagery with my tdoc or with a 15 minute recording. I did guided imagery in a large group one time. It was o.k. I did find that yoga was wonderful. I loved it. |
