Citicoline as part of your supplement regime?

Just curious if anyone has done any research on Citicoline and it's benefits if any on the injured brain and required dosages?

It was recommended to me recently as a product I may want to investigate and still early in my reading on the topic. I am curious if someone has already done their homework on this one?

It looks expensive. The risks of side effects are low.

Looks like it may benefit those who struggle with past drug dependency because of how it interacts with dopamine receptors.

It is a bit pricey, about $1 (CDN) per day on a 500mg daily dose. References I found for head trauma/concussion recovery were almopst all based on small groups and only on short term studies primarily. Some were inconclusive others were so optimistic it made it sound miraculous.

I may give it a try, it may not be as effective for those who move further in time away from injury. As a note, looking at trying the one by AOR research.

is citicoline really effective for memory and learning, attention span? is this the best memory supplement?
I'm having terrible brain fog in the middle of classes and take phosphitadyl choline with lecithin choline. I also take sam-e which seems to help and am on an asv ventilator machine every night with 5 liters oxygen
