Just paid $2.98 a gallon.:smile: Figured I'd never see it below $3 ever again! That was at Murphy USA, Walmart's affiliate. When using a prepaid card from Walmart you get a .10/gallon discount right now.

I'm in east central Iowa.

In 1990, was paying 1.16
In 2000, was paying 1.48...probably the last time I drove.

I saw a sign yesterday for $3.19 a gallon for regular. I haven't bought gas in so long I don't keep up with the prices much anymore.

$3.89 the closest gas station to my house. I can drive 23 minutes to a $3.68 gas station. It is a Native American gas station. :)

My BF and I always think about filling a 55 gallon drum with gas when it's cheap like this. Unfortunately gas does have a shelf life.
