Look at this drug
|
If all of this is true, it seems to be quite an impressive drug that I would be very interested in post-op as other muscle relaxants have had little to no effect on me. However, if I read that correctly, it only works 1-2 hours? That is a big downside. Unless what they meant was that it takes 1-2 hours to kick in? If so, people like us could wait for it to kick in and take it regularly. I will be asking about this drug if further research looks this good! Thanks for sharing!

That is very interesting. I have cervical spondylosis as well as NTOS and wonder why my cervical spine doctor never recommended this. Looks promising for you! :)

Not available in USA.
There are reports of sudden allergic reactions: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22665359 This drug has significant liver side effects, and also is a prolonging agent for QT in the heart. It appears on DrugCite even though it is not showing approved by FDA on other searches. http://www.drugcite.com/?q=EPERISONE...CHLORIDE&s=&a= Since there are few of these reports, it must be from people stationed in other countries. |
