Nausea worse and worse!!

Just wondering if anyone has ever had symptoms of nausea and dizziness get worse and worse? I am at month four and the past 2 weeks I have been throwing up again. The brain rehab group at Mayo even seems confused by this as they say at month four a person should not be this acute. So reaching out to you guys again for some guidance..... yesterday I threw up both in the morning and afternoon :(. I have already lost 20 pounds since August and am wondering how much more my body can take!

First, what drug are you taking that you are getting sick from? May sound dumb (I usually do) Are of child bearing years? May be that your illness is not related to PD. Since you are newly diagnosed consider buying buying Jackie Christinson's book written for newly diagnosed patients.

I bellieve sticking to your movement disorder team is the best place to get your answers.

Welcome to the site. It is a shock to your system when you are diagnosed with a chronic disease. I live in the metro area.

domperidone

A MDS neurologist recommended domperidone to me for dopamine-induced nausea. I adjusted to my daily upset stomach before I ever took the medication, so I can't verify its efficacy. But the doctor said he's had very good results with it in cases of extreme nausea. It's only available by prescription in Canada. But you can PM me if you want more details.
