Help!!
I had caps on my eye teeth and a partial, 1st the cap fell off one eye tooth, and could not be put back on it would not stay, the dentist sealed the hole in what was left in the tooth and added a tooth to the partial. Shortly after the same thing happened to the other eye tooth and he did the same. This happened over 10 years ago, In the meantime I kept loosing teeth on the top and he kept adding them., now I have nothing left but this partial and what is left of these eye teeth, and I need a full denture. Problem is I have no
insurance., So I have been making due with alot of polident and dealing with it., So far no infection etc. My bottom teeth I have a partial but the remaining teeth are healthy and I continue to get dentistry, teeth cleaning etc. I am petrified at getting these two teeth/roots removed. It is just two expensive for me to afford a denture. Any suggestions., ................ |
Hi whirlwind,
To put it bluntly, by not having those roots removed now, you are simply putting off the inevitable. It is not ideal or favorable to retain just the roots of teeth for any length of time. So perhaps you could discuss your concerns with your dentist and decide if you feel it is best to remove those teeth sooner than later before you are forced to remove them. You could work out a payment plan so that by the time you have the money saved up, you can move forward with the extractions and denture. Bryanna Quote:
