New to NeuroTalk...

Im 33 from Ohio. A single mom of one trying to raise my son best I can. Now, with MS thrown on top of my already hectic stressful life. Im finding it even more difficult to parent my child once the fatigue sets in. Its awful! If I could have MS without the fatigue I'd say great!! So far its my only complaint.

I was in school working on my degree in medical billing /coding until my illness took over. I completed finals using a walker! I am a determined woman! Have 4 classes to complete. Once I go.bck ill be part-time. 2 classes each quarter is all I can handle now. I'd love to be able to finish Wat I've started!

Would love to meet some kind folks to converse with on a regular.

A short note to say hi and see if you'd like to chat. I don't have ms I think, but something similar. I don't know how you do it. Fatigue is unbearable for me. Was told I had ms or pd 20 yrs ago. Got lost misdiagnosed in med community for way too many years. I'm awaiting diagnosis from neuro/university. They tell me they don't think ms but I do have an antibody attacking my system. Scheduled for movement clinic in feb 2013.

Again just looking for a chat buddy, not many paraneoplastics on line here which I suspect is what I have. Similar to ms. great success to your schoolwork. Alas I've lost ability to comprehend reading material. I had to give up my 12 yr old daughter. She's at her aunts in la. I'm sure you'll be ok with treatments to help.

Wishing you a stress free Monday. Katherine

Hello Reeseyboo!

Welcome to NT!

As you can see, there's plenty of friendly support here! :)
You are a determined gal and I want to wish you the best as you get your degree. You're in an important field and I'm sure you will do great.
Sadly, I'm losing my job of 25 yrs doing medical billing/coding. My boss has joined with a hospital group and so the company I work for is disolving. I really enjoyed my job.

Best wishes to you and your son, and may you have a very Merry Christmas and New year!

It's great to have you with us!

Rae
