I moved your duplicated thread off. ;)

Make sure you take that B12 supplement on an empty stomach.
It will not be absorbed in the presence of food very well.

You should take the B-12 daily. If it is a liquid version, is sub-lingual consumption recommended?

You also need a good B complex. You need the other B's and folic acid to help your body get best utilization. You also need good D3 daily. You should also be supplementing with all of the anti-oxidants. My suggested regimen is in the 'Vitamin Supplement" thread. I'll find it and top post it again.

You can get a blood test to check your B-12, folate, and D3. It will help you understand your need for supplementation.

My best to you.

hmmm, Im not sure if and what sub-lingual consumption recommended. What does that mean and how do i find that out exactly?

So then drink it every day on an empty stomach?
...kinda worried about taking this.

There is nothing to worry about except that it might not work if you don't do it correctly.

1000mcg dose is absorbed in humans at about 13mcg, from the small intestine. Sublingual use is not documented well, and don't count on it working that way. You will swallow it with your saliva, and it will travel to the small intestine, and be absorbed.

I have a study on this here:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/arti...able/T1/#TF1-4

There is no upper limit of toxicity for this vitamin. Your large dose is not biologically large, because 90% or more is NOT absorbed and leaves in your stool.
