Bizi & Hubby Have a safe trip Home!!

Bizi

I hope you and hubby have a safe trip home south tomorrow.

I believe if I'm reading right on facebook. You guys really need
some extra hugs, and soft seats for Jeff.

Sending Jeff some Thoughts for a fast recovery. Because if I'm
reading right on Facebook, I believe he broke his hip.

Now If I have read this wrong then, whew!!!

But if not, then you will be doing a lot of nursing in the near future.

Sending hugs, and thoughts to you both!!!

Best wishes for the trip

Yes Jeff did get injured but fortunately seems to be recovering well. They both have been through the wringer poor things.

They should be home soon... which is great news all things considered.

I too hope that the trip isn't too uncomfortable for Jeff, and that it doesn't stress out our Bizi too much. May they find clear weather and dry roads all the way.

Bizi & Jeff, hugs and love to you both whenever you get a chance to read :circlelove: :heartthrob: :circlelove:

Mari Seeing that full moon reminds me of the full moon that I saw when I was driving home on Thursday night. I felt like it was company when I was driving into the rural farm lands where it's dark. I was driving south,and I could see it to my left. Then the direction of the road changed.

The moon was beautiful. BF:hug::hug::hug:

I'm so sorry about your husband bizi! I cannot imagine how much it hurts to break a hip. :Heart:

Bizi I'm also sorry that Jeff broke his hip. That must be terribly painful. BF:hug::hug::hug:

thank you for your kind thoughts.
Wednesday Jeff fell in the basement at his parents home and broke his hip, broke it in half at the shaft the part next to the ball. so he has 4 new screws that go in from the femor to his ball that are about 6-7 inches in length, only a 2 1/2 inch incision, from emergency surgery on wed nite. he was very ill fromt he pain meds so he stayed another nite in the hospital, I stayed with him. released friday, then headed south sat, yesterday. due home tomorrow.
Everything is difficult for him and thankfully the drive is not too bad, we stop every couple of hours and he walks about. We are taking our time. this is all new territory for us...please send positive thoughts our way. he will be non weight bearing for 8 weeks so his crutches will be his friend. he is not in that much pain thank goodness. we are literally taking it a day/hour at a time.

There you are Bizi!!! :hug::hug::hug::hug:

Thanks for checking in! :)

Believe me, you and Jeff are always in my thoughts. I figured the travel would take longer too. Keep on taking care... sounds like you are pacing yourselves, adjusting to your needs... that's good.

I look forward to your being home. I know that is the best place to be in these situations.

Try and keep your spirits up. I'm so sorry about Jeff's hip. :o :( I take it those pins are permanent? what a way to break in the New year... sigh. :( oh dear. no pun intended. :eek:

more :hug::hug::hug::hug::hug::hug:s to you, and good thoughts.

Oh dear, I'm so sorry about your DH's bad fall. :( I imagine his parents are devastated that it happened at their place.

Wishing him a speedy recovery. Remember to take care of you, too, Bizi! :hug:
