Hi fralmade and welcome to NeuroTalk. Here is the link to our Spinal Disorder Forum..http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum22.html

Thanks but its not a spinal injury it's a nerve in the neck which sends signals to the trapezius muscle damage has caused the trapezius to completely atrophy causing instability in the left shoulder as the trap is responsible for keeping the scapular in place the op I am waiting for transfers part of the rhomboid muscle to the scapular to improve the stability and improve my range of movement so easing the permanent pain

I was not a candidate for Eden lange because my injury was discoverd late and my muscles were not strong enough. I had severe scapular winging. I opted for the Thorasic Scapular Fusion, basically my scapular was tied to my ribs to stop the winging

Me too!

Hi fralmade!
I'm in the same boat and am desperate to find someone who has had the Eden-Lange procedure!
Today it was decided that I have a permanent disability with no chance of recovery resulting from a routine cervical lymph node biopsy done in October 2012.
I had a 2-pass 16gauge core biopsy. On the first pass the needle severed my SAN.
In January 2013 I had a surgical excision of the lesion, glue & stitch repair of the SAN which was unsuccessful.
I am currently taking Lyrica, Targin, Oxynorm, and paracetamol.
My pain levels are excessive some days. I have winging of my left scapular, CRPS, weakness & only 20-30degrees abduction in the left arm and muscle wastage & weakness.
Physio was unhelpful, acupuncture and meditation also lol!
I'm in counselling for depression and have just begun antidepressants today to attempt to lift my mood a little in order for me to make some big life decisions regarding my outcome.
My incident is going to court.
I would LOVE to talk with you more and find out where you are and what they are going to do with you to fix your injury/condition/disability.
Am so so so happy I found this thread!!!
Thanks Doc Smith for pointing me in the right direction!!!!!!
