Having an open mind and having a medical team with open minds will offer best results. If you feel something within reason is worth trying and a doctor won't consider, find a new one.
Try all modalities and if ten fail with one having success, that is progress. Try different medications and procedures. There are many therapies to our disposal.
Realize even a tiny bit if pain relief with RSD is a huge victory. Usual cases don't really involve major pain relief, just enough to get through the day. The real fight is the spread and making it worse.
Good luck and best wishes.
