Ambien?

I was prescribed Ambien, and was wondering if anyone has ever used a sleeping pill or have other ways of dealing with insomnia due to PCS. I tried low dose melantoin, and that really didn't do much.

Have you tried magnesium about an hour before needing to sleep? We often have imbalances with magnesium and calcium.

I am currently taking a low dose - it helps with getting to sleep and has helped some for the mental tiredness upon waking but i still get \ have fatigue during the day. Not sure if that is a built up loss of sleep from months or what. It is worth a try just keep 8hrs free to rest after taking

Prior to my accident, I had problems with sleep. When the medication I was using for sleep stopped working, ambien was prescribed. However, it had quite the opposite effect on me and I was awake for 3 days straight.

Hopefully it can be helpful for you! If not, keep trying. Your doctor can help you find something that works.
