trying to get in at John Hopkins
Well, I am still feeling bad and waiting on an sfemg until June so someone can give me a diagnosis and medication. I am just getting out of bed after 16 hours of sleep and i feel very fatigued and my voice is very weak. All I did yesterday was laundry and dishes.
I called John Hopkins and they said they may be able to get me in around April. I need to send my records and they will decide if they will take on my case. Has anyone here ever been to John Hopkins for MG? If so, who did you see? Also any suggestions on how to get them to take my case or take it sooner? thanks, kathie (seronegative) |
Hi Kathie,
I know 2 who have gone to JH. Both saw Dr Corse. One simply went for a consultation and med review and then was followed by her own neuro back home from there. The other one actually used to post here--TysonDouglas is the name if you want to do a search. Actually, getting in in April is really very good at a big teaching hospital. My neuro currently has an 11 month wait! All I can suggest is to ask that you be put on a their cancellation list and perhaps call every week or two just to see if there is a cancellation. If you can be there at a "moment's notice" let them know! Good luck. |
