lamictal worsens dystonia
although it's not common for people to have dystonia and take epilepsy meds, please be aware that lamictal can make dystonia and tics worse in people who already have them. It can cause tremors.

I always find lists like this difficult. Why? Because there are some meds also used to treat dystonia that can appear on this sort of list, and any new(ish) drug isn't going to be on there (as although I already had dyst. when I took venlafaxine, it made it worse - few years later the trials came out saying that it could make D worse).

i agree 100% swift.
you can have an opposite reaction to almost all of the dystonia meds i think |
Interesting...I had a dystonic reaction to Phenergan once in the ER. Worst thing I've ever experienced. Have had some kind of movement disorder (I don't know if it's dystonia, akathisia, RLS, what) ever since. Could one time do it? How?
