6th year anniversary loss of dd
 

Monday was the anniversary,
It does not seem so long has gone by. The hole in my heart remains empty, wishing I could hold her, brush her long hair, hold her long fingers. Missing homemade apple crumb pies, momma of her cat's, crazy ideas, how deep she cared for me, finding things she could do to help me at home, caring for KT when I was at college. Always loving, challanging, tough as tacks.

For years I would go to pick up the phone, now I talk to her from my heart. My grandson came in with a little bag of hearts and stars he made for me because he knew how sad I would be mising Aunt Sissy, he will never remember her. But he loves her.

KT is 17 now, she had just turned 11 when De passed away. De would be wickedly wild with a near 18 little sis. She is her guardian Angel though.

I don't even know how to share what it meant to me those dark days, and even today, the support of my friends. There were forum friends that met De when they came here to see the specialist, I am so glad they were able to met her.
I only wish she had not had her engagement broken, she just lost so much hope for her future after that.

But, the love for me, KT, little Connor all of us, I hold onto. Thank you for taking the time to read and enjoy the pictures.
