Aniracetam for Brain Fog

Has anyone tried this before? I spoke with someone on this forum who got a positive response from it, but I would like to hear what others have to say about it.

I'm at my wits end with this brain fog. At this point, I'm willing to try anything. My only concern is I've heard it gives your brain a boost of energy. Pretty much anything that gives my brain a boost, like sugar, caffeine, etc. makes it way harder to think. Also my brain and body is already wide awake, I just have horrible thought clarity.

So, if anyone has tried this before, please share your experience with me.

Thanks.

piracetam brought my memory back. try all the different racetams. people have varied efficacy for each racetam. Its not cut and dry like this one is definitely better than this one. See what works for you. and on a plus side they have been shown to be very risk free

also you might find it helpful to supplement with a choline source such a lecithin or alpha gpc

I can't remember if I wrote this before :), but I found amantadine really helped brain fog. I tried it twice, loved it, but decided to stop because it made it hard for me to sleep. But it doesn't seem to do that to everybody. It is an old anti-viral that works at the dopamine level. Gets prescribed to kids too, and has been around since the 60s.

I may give it another go soon. Good luck!
