Terrified new member-C5-7 surgery scheduled

Please, don't flame me. I just got the orders yesterday. Globus Cage and Atlantis Vision Elite Plate are mentioned. I'm trying to do my research but it's confusing. Can someone please tell me how this is different from a graft? Thank you so much.

Hi ~ You'll get lots more responses if you post this in the Spinal Disorder forum. There are people there who can answer your questions. ;) At least I hope so. LOL

So feel free to post there. I hope to see you there. God bless & take care. Hugs, Lee

Hon, no one is going to flame you. I don't know what that even means. I just wanted to stop by and say hi and Welcome. Go to that forum and you'll get lots of good info.

All the best.

Melody

Hi,

Hope you are finding your way around.

It's a little over my head.

There's lots of knowledgable folks here to help with your needs.

There is a search button above if you can get to use that.

It does sound complicated. Take care and keep us posted.

Hi Murph

Fear not. We do survive these approaches. I have a titanium plate which was mounted from anterior surgery to fuse my cervical spine. It was far more frightening to me NOT to have the procedure since to have failed in taking on the help would have consigned me to the loss of the use of both of my arms due to dramatic degenerative yuk. My nerves were being systematically sqeezed off/choked off so the arms were getting zero contact.

Now five months post surgical I am grateful to even be able to type this message...... something I could no longer do pre-surgery.
Yup,
Pray for ya,
Mark56:hug::grouphug:
