Does it ever go away?

Does PCS anxiety eventually just go away? I'm noticing improvements but I am hoping eventually it just goes away to the point where I can rest and be rested.

Unless you greatly reduce your stress load and sensory stimulus, the anxiety will likely continue. By being disciplined with stress and sensory overload, your brain can heal and you can slowly, over a 6 month period or longer, try to return to your active life. You may not be able to return to the intensity of the past. Nobody can say.

Are you taking serious steps to reduce your stress and stimulation?

First you have to accept this complex syndrome.
Next move on to dwelling and after dwelling move on to coping!!!
As long as you ask yourself is it going to go away?
No it will get worse....:(
Reverse the thoughts and say it will go away! :D
Then focus on something else you did not do in past and that is not over stimulating....

when I say don't look back... I mean for instance my favorite thing to do in life was snowboard I been doing it since I was 15yrs...this situation comes along....I put snowboarding out of my mind.

As long as you dwell you cannot move on to coping....
It is in YOU to do this...the doctors can only help....
Start by reversing the thought process and use the energy you USE on dwelling and out it on coping....:D:D
and you will gradually see changes....
In this syndrome I learned that we can be our worst enemy!:icon_evil:
Take my advice and use it as a start of control...Consider you are young and have a lot of youth to fight this!YOU CAN DO THIS!!!No matter what age we are we still have the youth to fight this :mf_swordfight:
