Hello Everyone,
I have Chemo-induce PN from multiple myeloma treatment. It started late November in my feet with burning, pain, stiffness. I am also being treated for Prostate Cancer. In the past 3 years, I've had surgeries, two bouts of radiation treatment, hormone therapy and chemo therapy. However, the constant pain and difficulty in getting around from PN is the first thing that has thrown me for a loop. The doctor has prescribed an anti-depressant which only left me in a daze. Next was Lyrica, which does help me sleep but doesn't seem to do much for pain. I take percocet when it is really bad and that does take a little of the edge off. Well, enough whining from me. I just want to say hello to everyone and am glad I found this site.

Hello Kevin!
Welcome Aboard!
You are certainly at the right place! The PN forum will help you get a better understanding of this very frustrating condition. Be sure to read the section at the top, called the 'Stickies'. It's loaded with good info. I remember feeling all alone at first while trying to get a solid diagnosis. NO one seemed to understand what I was going thru. When I found this forum, I was floored to see how many others battle this! So, make yourself right at home, You certainly are not alone! Rae :grouphug: |
