Some symptoms that are not going away.

For the past 3 weeks, I have been experiencing a variety of symptoms, of what I'm not sure. I have very itchy scalp/head, sometimes burning feeling. Same with my ears and face. I feel hot and burning, but I'm not flushed. Also, the back of my neck, the front of my neck and my chest are burning. It happens in my lower back as well, but not as often. My neck, ears, face, and scalp burning occurs daily and pretty much all day long.

I was diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder back in June 2012 and have been on Buspar- 25 mg/day.

When I search theses symptoms on line, everything points to anxiety, but if it is than the medication isn't helping. I can sleep at night, but as soon as I wake up, it starts all over again.

Any ideas?

Welcome to NeuroTalk:

Are you taking any other drugs for other things? Blood pressure, etc?

Did you have this before the Buspar?

More on this subject:

The list on that link is always in flux...new things added as drugs get reported.
The only way to test it out is to stop the suspected drug and see if there is a change in symptoms.

The only other drug I'm taking is an occasional 1/2 tablet of a .25 mg xanax. I will read the lupus article. Thanks!
