New here and undiagnosed

Hello all, I'm a new member and this is my first post. My apologies if this is posted in the wrong section, I didn't really take the best look around. I'm currently going through testing for possible auto immune diseases. They highly suspect MS. I have had MRIS done on lumbar, Thoracic, cervical, pelvic, and brain. Aside from some minor bulges all came back normal and unremarkable. My blood work indicates ANA present at 1:160 homogenous.I am 27 years old and have had off and on pain for the last 5 years, but has become constant for the last 6 months. My symptoms are chronic inflammation in my back and legs. I have bilateral weakness in my legs as well as a constant burning/aching feeling. I can't stand or sit for more then ten minutes without pain setting in. I also have some trembling occasionaly usually in my arms. My question is, does anyone else have similar symptoms but has had a diagnosis? I've been seeing countless doctors for 4 months now and I work 55 hours a week on the night shift for a trucking company and I'm quite honestly burnt out. Sorry for the long post and/or wrong area. Thanks for Any feedback as well.

Hello Bigdand!

Welcome!

Sure you're at the right place! I'm sorry about all these unexplained symptoms you are dealing with. Since there are suspicions of MS, here's the link to take you over to the MS forum:

http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/fo...aysprune=&f=17

I'm sure you'll get good feedback there, whether or not you actually have MS.
The burning/aching feeling you describe in your legs sounds all too familiar with me. It could be related to nerve pain (Neuropathy), which can be tricky to diagnose. Check out the Peripheral Neuropathy forum, as it is loaded with good info and great support. Here's the PN forum link:

Feel free to look thru the other forums also and post anywhere you feel inclined.
I hope you will begin to get some answers very very soon.

Caring,
Rae

Thanks!

Thanks Rrae for the quick response and the links to some appropriate forums. I personally don't think it's MS because I had lesions and only a couple of the symptoms. However, I did want to do research on some people going through it, as only using "the Internet google machine" only have me some basic knowledge, so the links you posted will be of great help. Again thanks for the response

The symptoms you are discribing sounds alot like what I have I was diagnosed with RSD or Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy. I am not sure if thats what you have but all those symptoms go along with RSD. RSD is caused by some kind of nerve damage, most times from some kind of injury while other times there is no none cause for the damage. I would try seeing a pain specialist. My condition is now full body as it wasnt caught soon enough, I went to every specialist and was so surprised that it took a pain specialist to diagnose it, some neurologist know about RSD but very few. I do hope this int what it is but just look into it and see how many of the symptoms you have. There is a forum on this site just for RSD or the new name CRPS Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. I do hope you find a diagnosis so you can get relief.

Samantha
