Need help from person who offered disability paperwork support

Hi everyone,
Brain patch here. There was a person who had said that if anyone needs help with disability paperwork their offer still stands to help. I can't find the thread of who that person was. I am really in need. I have traumatic brain injury and every time I try to explain what is going on or answer the disability questions my answers are taken the wrong way. Far from what the meaning was. I can't even get my own family to understand. Sometimes I think they are brain damaged. I guess I am not coming across right and get so frustrated nobody can understand. I did have a neurologist who totally understood and have a letter from him. I am getting in to someone who does neuropsychological testing. I really think an MRI or cat scan of my brain would help. It has to show some damage. I am so impared. The problem is I only have Medicaid. How can I get an MRI or cat scan with Medicaid? Should I just go to the e.r next time I am having a migraine with vision loss and insist on these tests? The other people on here with tbi and post concussive syndrome make perfect sense to me and I wonder if they have problems getting family etc. to understand what is happening with them. Please someone that can help please reply. I have a phone appointment to do disability app on 2/21/13. Thanks so much. Sorry if I sound like I am insane. I have so much trouble with moods, anxiety, sleeping, eating, constipation, being able to function in the world. No spouse or anyone to turn to. The paperwork that came in the mail today for disability has me so frustrated. This would of been so easy for me before my TBI. I am just in tears trying to figure out my work history. Ridiculous  thanks all for the support.

possible help

Hi!
First of all, I would not do a telephone interview. It's best if you make in an person interview when you have all your paperwork and medical records in order.
What paperwork di they send you. Have you asked your Medicaid docs for an MRI. They can't deny you necessary tests for a diagonsis or treatment. Going to an ER is a good idea but you have to be firm with them about an MRI.
Contact me privately and I'll see what I can do to help.

I hope this gets to you I am not sure how to do a private reply. Should I cancel phone appointment? I have report from neurologist and my pain (regular) doctor. Should I wait until I get the neuropsychiatric evaluation and MRI before I go in to social security office? It takes them so long I thought I would get it going and then submit the other reports. What do you think? Thanks for responding. I appreciate it so much.

Here's the plan for applying for disability

Hi friends,
Okay, I have read what you all had to say and here is what I am going to do. Tomorrow I will get an appointment for the neuropsychiatric evaluation. I found a place that can do MRI, cat scan whatever they think is necessary. My bishop told me he would give permission to cover any costs for whatever I needed done. I will let you know how that goes. I already have documentation from a neurologist/movement disorder specialist stating I have TBI/ post concussive syndrome manifested by cognitive impairment, chronic pain and fatigue. Sleep disorder of REM sleep behavior disorder and nocturnal frontal lobe epilepsy, chronic migraine and episodes of syncope. I will call social security and change from a phone appointment to an in office appointment. I will tell them I need help with the paperwork. Just trying to do the employment history made it obvious that I need help with the paperwork. Also, if I go in then I can give them the report from the neurologist, neuropsychiatric evaluation, MRI and my pain specialist doctor reports. If anyone thinks this is good or bad plan please reply.
Keep me in your prayers please. I really need help from Jesus. I love you guys. Hope everyone is feeling okay today. I am feeling a little less hopeless.
