Hi,

Today is the first day of the Chinese New Year. This is the year of the snake.

Dear Mari

Happy Chinese New Year to you too! I read my Chinese horoscope for this year on the same blog... looks hopeful for me. I hope yours is as good or even better!

Also, I have a friend to whom i'd especially wanted to send Chinese New Years greetings this year, especially since i sent nothing to her (or anyone else), for Christmas or New Years (Gregorian), etc). I would have spaced this out too, but thanks to your post i have now emailed her a greeting... and ON TIME to boot! :)

While preparing the email-card for my friend, I found the above design which I really liked. I also appreciated in it the presence of colors associated with the Snake's natural element (red and gold for Fire) as well as with the element for this year (aqua for Water).
