Foot drop
 

Do any of you have a severe foot drop? I have rsd in both legs but the right foot drags considerably. Since I have an scs, it isn't really painful, but it's getting worse. I used to use a cane, but I wondered if any of y'all used orthotics or inserts or anything like that with success? I'd really rather not go back to the cane due to my hand rsd being so bad right now. Just wondered if anyone's had experienced it?

Hi tk-sorry about your foot drop- that would be difficult using a cane with your hand issues. I also have full body with one crippled hand. very little strength in the one hand.
What does your Dr. say about the foot that drags- can anything strengthen it? How are your eyes? Take care, loretta

I don't know much about it, but the first thing that came to mind was physical therapy. Are you in a physical therapy program?

PT and getting that foot braced is your best option to correct the foot drop
