Potential future treatment - Z160
 

I read some interesting stuff about a potential future treatment now in phase 2 clinical trials. Keep in mind that, even if successful, it will be years before it will be available and also, like most drugs, it will probably only help some people. It is similar to existing drug Ziconotide (Prialt). That drug has some serious adverse reactions and also must be administered directly into the spinal fluid. However, the makers of Z160 believe that have gotten beyond those issues.
