RND???or RSD

OK im a little confused.. what are we calling this now?? they really need to stick with one name for it no wonder we are having issues getting proper treatment and research. they keep altering the name. maybe if they focused on the cure and proper treatment instead of renaming it we would be in better condition

Agree; and what does RND stand for?

From what I understand is if you have type one you can call it RSD (no nerve damage), if you have type two (with nerve damage) then it is CRPS. or you can use the very first terms used in the war causalgia and I can't remember the one for no nerve damage, then of course using type 1 or type 2 My doc and I use CRPS type 1 and 2. It is really weird and confusing and rediculous!

RND--Reflex Neurovascular Disorder. I did hear a comment from someone that this is more of a child version of RSD and that it is not as severe.:confused::confused:

OK it stands for reflex neuromuscular dystrophy. a pediatricia coined the name for children whom have it and they claim they can "cure" children with this. I am till looking into it but it seems to be "like" RSD/CRPS as it is pain with out reason. and
reflex sympathetic dystrophy in its name "IS" nerve damage and very specific to the sympathetic nervous system. but as my neurologist states it is ALL nerve damage. as chronic pain is neurological.
to me it sounds like we are all paddeling in the same water, but it is confused by the different names its given.

The name I received from RSDS on my facebook page called it Reflex Neurovascular Disorder. However when I clicked the link I then got Reflex Neurovascular Dystrophy. Even the RSD sites are confusing. :)
