Has anyone tried Hypebaric Oxygen Treatments?

I still am looking for the elusive silver bullet to put this all behind me. I wonder if anyone has tried HBOT. And if so, what is your opinion.

HBOT is promoted as very useful by the HBOT industry. The studies show that it is best for more serious TBI's such as those coming out of a coma. The results that are positive show a need for 60 to 80 45 minutes sessions at 1.5 atmospheres. The improvements do not appear to be drastic. In fact, they measure the improvements by imaging increased perfusion in the small capillaries in the brain, not by improved functions.

What symptoms are you struggling with the most ?

Have you been able to reduce stress in your daily life so you can get the quiet rest your brain needs ?

It would be great if it worked, but as Mark said, the reviews are mixed. I think I just read something about the US military having had good results with concussed personnel and that they are getting a machine for Afghanistan troops. Would give it a try if I had money and time.

The people I spoke to about it in the UK suggest that the best results for concussion suffers are when HBOT is given very soon after injury.

The problem being is that after many months of suffering when we think we need it - it is diminishing in effectiveness.
