Young and the Restless

soap opera. Anyone watching it? Well Nickki has MS. It will be interesting to see how they play that one out. Hope I posted this in the right place.

I might just have to start watching that! It's always interesting to see how actors portray MS. :)

I don't watch soap operas. In fact, I don't even have my TV on during the day and only sometimes at night. You will have to post and let us know how they incorporate MS in to the soap opera. That should be interesting.

I record it and look at it when I want to. I will see what they say and how they handle it. It's the only soap opera I watch.

I love the theme song to this soap opera. Nadia's Theme.....

Oh me too. Didn't know what it was called. Thanks much!

No way! Really? I tape it and am behind a bit although the lab results I heard Victoria read sounded like something we might have but Nikki hasn't been having any issues that I recall.

Interesting, thanks for the info. I was getting sick of waiting to hear what her problem was anyway. I'm pretty sure they won't show the ugly side of MS and really hope they don't support the myth that we are just fine and can still go rock climbing and figure skating well into our 80s.

She was having troubles with her hands when she was playing the piano. And then she was showing how her hands were shaking but not all the time. Jack is the only one she has told. He noticed her hands shaking. She also mentioned things like remission, flares, etc. She also told Jack that there were things happening for awhile but she put it off to getting older, etc. I believe. I bet they will find a way as they always do. What do you think?

I don't watch soaps anymore, but I'll be reading here to watch your conversation.

slight hijack here...
Does anyone remember "way back when", on One Life to Live, Victoria Lord Riley's (a major character) daughter dies from Lupus. That was so long before MS entered my life...the woman handled this supposedly major disease so matter-of-factly then died from it. I think back and realize, that's how I handle my supposedly major disease.

Yes I remember that story. I am like you now, I haven't watch soaps since 1998.
