MRI tomorrow

Hi Everybody,
I have my MRI tomorrow. Do you think they will tell me anything after they are done at the hospital? Am I going to have to wait for the report to be sent to my doctor? Is there anyway to find out anything before that? The suspense is going to kill me. How can I get a copy of it? I need it for my disability claim.
Thanks for any input. I am praying they can find the problem and maybe a plan to help me.

Hi Brain

The test givers usually won't tell you anything. Hang in there. If there is something really wrong, your doctor will call you soon. I know that is hard to do, it was for me as well. You can get a copy of your report and actual MRI disk as soon as your doc. reviews it. I will hope and pray things turn out for you. ginnie:grouphug:

ginnie is right. But, there is a very small chance they will find anything with a normal MRI. Unless you have stroke like symptoms and are weak on one side, the MRI is just to rule out other rare situations.

Mark,

I know this is terrible but I am actually hoping it shows a tumor or something so my family could see with proof that I have a real problem. It is terrible how they treat me. Like I am a fairly young person why would I totally withdraw from life if there was not something majorly wrong? They don't listen to me. Maybe I don't communicate right with them. I don't know. They are so religious and have had no chronic conditions they have had to manage and do not believe in taking medication at all. They make me feel like a total drug addict because I take 2 pain pills a day and a sleeping pill. I could not even get out of bed and bath or wash my clothes or do any of the minimum activity I do. Besides that I would be too sick to even live here if I did not have my medication. You guys have to take some medication right? I have a lot of chronic pain. I moan all the time if I don't take my pain med.
I will let you guys know what the results are as soon as I know. Heres hoping for tumor or proof.
Have a good day.
