Finally!!!

My trial is scheduled for 2/27!!! On paper at surgery center at 7 am lol. I get two leads for the cervical which my rep said will actually be inserted at C2/C3 level. Wow. Anyway, so I'm excited. Made me forget about the eye problems and the kidney stones, and the possibility of gastro paresis. (I've always had problems with this) anyway, so I'm excited to finally have a date and hope the top one works as well as the bottom!
Thanks for listening to me whine so much.

TK

:)

How wonderfully fantastic for you. What a hill you have to climb to get there. Can't wait to hear how you feel after.

tkayewade 02-22-2013 09:42 AM

Kinda OT, but replies lol

Thank y'all. I was so happy. Now I have to get this germ bear to stay away!!!! Lol. I don't feel quite as anxious since this is my second, but I do always feel a bit nervous. Btw, did you know here in Texas some insurance companies are refusing to pay for anesthesia for nerve blocks, trials, other types of pain procedures?!!! Seems like people really want to stick it to the chronic pain warriors.

sad. If they were to strep and live in the shoes of a person in pain all the time, they would change their minds.

That's off topic, but I was apalled!! Also OT, I haven't missed your visit, have I Mark?

Hi TK, I leave for Fort Worth Sunday after church. Will arrive at Sheraton downtown around 7:45pm..... Will be there through Friday next. I have not pressed the issue with you, for it seems your pain profile is so off scale, you surely do not need to think of getting together. That is quite alright, you know, besides, I can use the time to continue reading in hopes of being utterly prepped for the Exam.

Lost contact with DFWAndy and LimpinLarry, so I am not pushing a get together. Sounded good when we thought of if. I am willing yet, for Sunday late dinner or Monday lunch or something such if anyone is willin and wantin....

In the meantime I should think you will want to be holding that contagion bug at bay so you get your Trial on time, on target, as hoped!

Prayin for ya:hug:

Not just in Texas, unfortunately, as I'm currently going through this struggle with my insurance company :( I'm just praying it doesn't affect the approval of my revision.

But anyway, I'm so glad you finally have it scheduled for only a few days away now! Best of luck and we'll all be anxious to hear how your trial goes! During the trial especially, you'll feel a LOT of positional changes, especially when you move your neck, but that's normal. I also couldn't sleep with mine on because it got way too strong with the positional changes whichever way I'd lay down, but you might be different.
