Help with ON

Anyone who has got this occipital neuralgia from a cold draft' in need of answers' I have been diagnosed 7 weeks ago and I am in awful pain from my neck to my head ? Anyone who has got this from sitting in a draft ? Thanks to all.

The occipital nerve travels through various layers of muscle, and these muscles can entrap the nerve. Sitting in a draft could conceivably cause these muscles to tighten up and/or spasm, pulling on the nerve and causing trauma.

I recommend seeing a neurologist or pain specialist for specific therapiess to reduce your pain.

Hi, I am new here but I wanted to say that any change in temps or getting cold makes my neck pain sky rocket, which makes my scalp pains climb higher and trigger more pains in my face and ear. One way I cope is by using scarfs.
Healing together, Therese
