Head pressure in the mornings
I have been waking up with this head pressure, I feel weird like a little confused, the pressure is all around my head, its mild, not severe, its a pressure pain, which even occurs at the top of my head and all around. Any of you experience this? Is this normal for a PCS sufferer or is this just anxiety?

I get that too and kind of thought it was sinuses. I get stuffy from sleeping. Usually it goes away after getting up and moving around. If I get up and move around and still have confusion and any pressure then I know its not going to be a good day.
Hope yours has gone away! CC |
Yes, I get head pressure it starts on my left side and moves to the right, I am informed by my Neuropsychologist that this is muscular. Funnily enough I have hardly had it today its more numbness instead, which is progress. I did get it after 45 minutes weeding in the garden this afternoon, but decided to stop when it came and it seems to be subsiding. I previously had chronic PCS headaches, then this was replaced by pressure which is far more bearable. If I overexert myself I have got severe pressure and this has resulted in headaches and other PCS symptoms. Perhaps its a warning sign?

I am just glad my neuro appointment is tomorrow, so I can ask her if my Occipital Neuralgia is acting up or if this just another brick in the wall of what we call PCS. My neck has been getting stiff lately so I may be due for another injection. I will keep you guys posted for sure. :)

I deal with the same morning issue. Most mornings I feel my best before 10am but days like today are just miserable all day like my head is in a vice. The numbness is something I have only heard of on here by other sufferers. It's uncomfortable at the least. The lack of full control feeling is scary but I haven't ever had it go further than that. If I sit too long I get the pressure badly, which is great since I sit at a desk all day at work. :/
