Hi chrismartin
Welcome to Neuro talk. I am sorry about your dad. I have heard of this condition before as my son is an OPT. He has had patients with this kind of disorder after a stroke. Can your dad, do as JoMar suggested and get into a facility that can work with him around the clock? That intensive therapy can help restore some movement. It takes alot of time though, and having multipal approach would be wonderful for him. If it were my dad, I think I would try this route. I wish you all the best. NT. will be here for you. ginnie:grouphug:
