Numbness, tingling, prickly, pins and needles, burning, some people cannot even stand the clothes against their skin. If you google Small Fiber Neuropathy you may find even more symptoms. Blessings, Jan

thank you.
I have negative EMG. Doctors say it might be small fiber neuropathy I have. They have not diagnosed the reason for it. being investigated for different autoimmune disorders. Leucocytoclastic vasculitis. positive. The burning all over is relentless!! Sometimes numbness. Lyrica helps. But I do not have any musle weakness, only intense burning everywhere. Pins and needles some times. Also urinary problems.

Small fiber neuropathy--

--since it involves only the smaller, unmyelinated fibers that subsume the sensations of pain, temperature, and many autonomic functions, typically don't present with motor symptoms, and reflexes are typically normal.

The sensory and autonomic symptoms may be quite diverse--dysethetic pain, numbness, odd sensations ("paratheses") with no obvious source, problems with blood pressure or digestive tract.
