Just a question
I was wondering if anyone else has ever noticed tenders spots on their head? I was just touching a spot and it hurts really bad. I don't know why it would be tender I don't remember ever hitting it or being hit there. It's in an odd spot behind my ear too.
I have never noticed this before but was just wondering if it could possible be associated with how my headaches have been getting worse recently. Any advice helps, thanks. |
I was just reading up on head hurting to touch because my aunt is having this on the top of her head. Looks like it might be a specific type of headache which would make sense if your headaches are worse. Supposedly botox injections help. I'm sorry I don't remember the name of the type of headache. Should have re-googled it before posting... hopefully your doctor can help you get relief!

Tenderness behind the ear can be a spasming muscle that connects to your upper neck. It can also be the cause of head aches. The C-1 (atlas) to occiput (base of skull) joint can be injured. There are also tendon anchoring points that can pull out and form a bone spur.
A physiatrist (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) may be helpful or a Physical Therapist, too. My best to you. |
Scalp pain
A few weeks back I was experiencing what I described as scalp pain in just one spot near the top of my head. It has just very tender for days and then went away. It was about a two inch radius.

Tender spots on head/scalp
Hi Guys,
I have noticed tender spots on my head also. I have also noticed a few spots where it feels like it is indented. Like my bone and tissue have gone soft in a few areas and it dents in. Luckily my hair hides it or I think it would be noticeable to the eye as well as the touch. Does anyone else have these? Hope everyone had a good day. Mine sucked. Been at social security office all day starting a new disability claim. What fun that was. Thanks, Brain |
Yes I sometimes get them always associated with headaches. It can even make my eyes hurt as well.
