Well

After such a long wait, my trial leads get pulled tomorrow, I meet with my permanent surgeon Thursday!

That's the good news. The bad news.

I received my summative eval at work. I got all proficients, but my illness was mentioned six times. It's a disability. I was also told that I most likely wouldn't be rehired due to my disability. I thought that was illegal, but since I was leaving to getting my M.Ed, I'm sure I wasn't staying anyway.

It's rough being discriminated against. I wish I had a tape recorder today.

:(

On the good side, I have 6 weeks of my FMLA left, and intend to use it.

Due to My DISABILITY

Disability, upon the candor of disclosure, with a reasonable demonstration of the capacity to perform, is DUE reasonable and appropriate accomodation. Federal stuff, that. Do you have access to a yellow pages for an employment consult with some employment lawyer who would be able to advise you?

I hate that!!!! Hate it with a passion!!!!! Discrimination,
Humbug,
May the fleas of a thousand and one camels infest their hairy spaces,
imagine the itching,
sign me Perturbed:hug:

Those itchies are for the folks who let TK know she is unnecessary to her employment anymore because she has a disability. They need the annoyance of itchies without a cream as a balm. :D

Thanks y'all. I do have an Ada contact and a lawyer.
