Hi Desi
Welcome and yup!! You sure did pick the right place to be. And do we ever know about Ganglion Nerve Blocks, Had a few myself if I remember correctly. Of course they never worked for me way back when so I quit getting them but I'm sure they will help you. DON'T BE AFRAID!!!! :grouphug: Were all here for you. We have all had them at one time or another. You do have a nurse right there at the ready and they do give you medication of some sort I can't remember exactly what to calm you. But you do have to be awake for it and it only takes a second for the injection.
I won't kid you it is not the most comfortable thing in the world but you could get worse I'm sure. The after effects of the nerve block is what you need to focus on. RELIEF! Repeat after me!! R E L I E F !!!! :D :D :D AAAAHHHHH! See!! Not so bad. You can do it! I know you can. Chin Up!! Welcome! And brace yourself! For now you are a part of the most awesome group of folks you will ever meet!! Pull up a chair!!! :) Mark  |
Hi and welcome,
you might want to visit the thoracic outlet syndrome {TOS} forum too. Quite a few of us started out with some sort of RSI that progressed into TOS and some also progressed to having RSD also. TOS forum & useful links- http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/showthread.php?t=84 |
Howdy!
Welcome!
It might help, but the best news is your catching right away in the first few months. Catching RSD early is when there is the best chances of putting the pain in remission!!! :Wave-Hello: |
